Bank of the Fraser River with erosion control measures.

Erosion Control & Bank Stabilization

Flooding from the Fraser River affects many communities in the region. Not only is existing infrastructure inadequate for recent flood events, our natural barriers are gradually being eroded by peak water flows. Our partner, Tuya Construction Services, was responsible for the construction of a 1.5 meter berm raising initiative to protect homes, community infrastructure, and economic development lands.

Flood Mitigation

This project achieves two key goals for the community: relieving the shortage of usable lands and reducing flood risk from the Fraser River. With this project, the community can pursue new economic development opportunities by improving the quality of its land base using clean fill and raising it up out of the flood zone.

Construction Management

Market rental housing is in high demand in the region. In partnership with Tuya Construction Services, we managed all site demolition and housing construction sub-contractors, and provided project oversite, management and quality control throughout all phases of the project.

Machine processing gravel

Gravel Processing

This initiative processes and sorts gravel from various sources to be used for many different construction initiatives locally and throughout the region.

Large pile of wood waiting to be recycled

Wood Recycling

Waste wood recycling reduces landfill waste and provides material to produce wood chips for heating fuel as well as soil.

Pile of nutrient rich soil with a digging machine nearby.

Soil Production

Some of our recycled wood is processed into rich, organic material that can be utilized as a soil amender for land reclamation, agriculture, and many other uses.
